    Where do you roast your coffee?

    Coffee Mio has been roasting from the same location in Thornbury for over 40 years.

    What beans do you use?

    Coffee Mio uses only the highest quality bean sourced from all around the globe.

    What blend should I get?

    We have many different blends available, all of which have been specifically designed to enable you to get the best coffee from the equipment you are using.

    Our tasting notes and descriptions will help you choose the best coffee suited to your pallet.

    Does it matter how my coffee is ground?

    Yes, this is very important. Coffee that is ground needs to be ground to the right coarseness to ensure you get the correct extraction out of the coffee that you have. That is why we offer a variety of different grind(s) to suit whatever method of brewing you choose.

    How long will my coffee stay fresh for?

    If stored correctly (kept airtight, dry), coffee beans are best consumed within 6 weeks and ground coffee 2 weeks, to maintain its full flavour profile.

    How should I store my coffee?

    We don't believe that storing your coffee in the fridge or freezer is a good idea, due to the possibility of moisture absorption which in turn will affect how your coffee will taste.

    It is best to store your beans in a cool, dark, dry spot (like your kitchen pantry, or where you store your wine). This will maintain the flavour of your coffee for as long as possible. Storing the coffee in a sealed container will ensure that you get the most out of the shelf life of the coffee.

    Do you do specialty/seasonal roasts?

    Yes we do, it all depends on what green beans are available at the time

    Are you Fairtrade certified?

    Coffee Mio is not fair trade certified but we support the Rainforest Alliance program.

    What is Rainforest Alliance Certification?

    The Rainforest Alliance Certified seal is an international guarantee that particular coffees are grown on farms where forests are protected, rivers, soils and wildlife conserved; workers are treated with respect, paid decent wages, properly equipped and given access to education and medical care.

    The Rainforest Alliance works to ensure sustainable livelihoods by transforming land-use practices worldwide. Coffee growers that receive Rainforest Alliance certification meet rigorous social and environmental standards.

    Is your coffee Kosher?

    Yes, Coffee Mio has a variety blends of coffee that are certified 100% Kosher, suitable for anyone and everyone who loves their coffee but wants to make sure they are keeping within the laws of 'Kashrut.'

    Do you sell green beans?

    Unfortunately we do not sell green beans to the public.

    What warranty do you offer with all domestic espresso machines and grinders?

    For all domestic and commercial coffee machines and grinders we offer a 12 month parts and labour warranty.

    What payment methods are available on your website?

    On the Coffee Mio website we accept all major cards, all of which is handled through our PayPal portal for a quick and easy transaction without any lengthy signing up process.

    Are prices shown in Australian Dollars?

    Yes, all prices are shown in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and are inclusive of any applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST)

    How soon will my order be sent?

    All in stock item orders received before 12pm AEST will be packed and sent out that same day.

    How much will it cost to send my order?

    Coffee orders over $100 will receive FREE DELIVERY within Australia.

    For all orders under $100 a flat rate of $10 delivery fee will be charged within Australia.

    If I purchase a domestic espresso coffee machine or grinder from your site, how much will the delivery charge be?

    For all of our domestic espresso machines and coffee grinders we charge a flat fee of $20 to ship it anywhere within Australia.

    How is my order delivered? And who will deliver my order?

    All parcels leave Coffee Mio every business day (except on Weekends and Public holidays). All parcels are sent by either Registered Post (E-Parcel), Express Post (E-Parcel Express). If you have not received your parcel within the specified time frame and believe that it could be lost or delayed, you may email Coffee Mio at orders@coffeemio.com.au for more information.

    Do you ship internationally?

    Currently we only ship within Australia.

    Do you offer training on coffee equipment?

    Yes, our trained sales team can provide you with training for all of your staff to ensure that each cup of coffee they produce tastes and looks great.

    Do you offer coffee equipment packages for cafe/office customers?

    Yes, we know that our customers have quite different needs; every business has a different image to uphold. Our sales team can work with cafés, restaurants and the like to create a marketing package that will complement your business.

    What happens if my coffee equipment breaks down?

    We have trained technicians who can provide round the clock service to keep our hospitality customers’ coffee machines serviced and operating efficiently.
