Unique to this tamper design is a protective rim, which is between the base and the top slope of the handle. This serves the purpose of eliminating the potential vacuum effect, when using a tighter portafilter and helps to keep the tamper vertical.

Manufactured from military grade type III hard anodized aluminium, and a 304 stainless steel flat base, the Barista Hustle Tamper is durable yet extremely lightweight – which some say assists with hand fatigue
