MOKA
The Bialetti Moka – the OG stovetop espresso maker and a total appliance icon. Born out of post-war Italy, Mr. Bialetti’s genius creation changed the coffee game forever. Fast forward to today, and it’s still your go-to for a morning jolt or the secret ingredient to the best tiramisu.
All you need? Coffee, water, and a stove. This pressurized brewing method creates that thick, velvety crema we all crave – basically, an espresso in your own kitchen.
With 8 sizes to choose from, there’s a Moka for every coffee lover (and every level of addiction). A ‘cup’ is 30mL of espresso goodness, so 3 cups = 90mL of pure magic.
Crafted from food-safe, durable aluminium alloy, the Moka won’t mess with your coffee’s flavor. And with a black acrylic handle and knob, you can grab it straight off the stove without burning your fingers.
Keep it simple when cleaning – just a warm rinse and avoid steel wool or the dishwasher (your Moka deserves better).
For the best brew, stick to espresso roast coffee (medium to dark roasts work best with that high-pressure action), and always go fresh. Grind just before brewing and aim for a slightly coarser grind than espresso – but if it’s not tasting right, adjust the grind until you get that perfect cup.

How to Keep Your Bialetti Moka Pot Happy (and Brewing Strong)
- Rinse After Use: No soap needed! Just rinse with warm water to remove coffee grounds. Let it dry naturally.
- Say No to Soap: Soap can mess with the taste and metal. Stick to water or a gentle brush to clean.
- Dry It Right: Don’t dishwash! Hand dry or air dry. A cloth works wonders to remove water spots.
- Check the Gasket: Make sure the rubber gasket is in good shape. If it’s worn, replace it.
- Tackle Limescale: Soak in equal parts vinegar and water for 20 minutes to remove limescale. Rinse well.
- Store It Right: Keep it dry and cool. Don’t store coffee grounds in the filter – give it space to breathe!
Easy, right? Treat your Moka well, and it’ll keep brewing perfect coffee for years to come!
Shipping & Returns
Shipping & Returns
We’ve got you covered when it comes to shipping! We use either Sendle or Australia Post, so you can expect your coffee fix to arrive within 2-4 business days. We’re based in the heart of Melbourne, so if you’re ordering from the wilds of regional or interstate Australia, it might take a smidge longer to land on your doorstep. All orders are sent with "Authority to Leave," so no need for awkward signature moments (sadly, no autographs here!).
If your caffeine cravings are still going unsatisfied after 5 business days, don’t panic – just shoot us an email at beancounter@coffeemio.com.au, and we’ll track it down faster than you can say “espresso.”
FREIGHT COSTS
We’ll cover shipping for orders over $60! Orders under $60 will incur a $10 flat rate, added at checkout. Need your coffee now? Australia Express Post is available for $15, because we get it – you need your coffee fix yesterday.
A FEW EXTRA BITS
We can’t ship to PO boxes just yet, so please pop in your residential address. Once your order’s on its merry way, we’ll send you a tracking email. If it doesn’t arrive (hey, technology, am I right?), just ping us an email, and we’ll keep you in the loop. We’re shipping Australia-wide, but international coffee lovers – we’re working on it! Keep an eye on this space.
